Why are people working so hard to discredit Christianity? There are numerous religions in the world but no other religion except Christianity is ridiculed the most. I don’t see Muslims, Wicca, new age religion, Buddhism, and any other attacked the way Christianity is attacked. Do you see the wider truth in the midst of all this mess? The reason Christianity is attacked the most is because it is the unadulterated TRUTH. When Jesus was on earth, He did no wrong. He spoke truth and was hated for it. He said to love God with all our heart, mind, and soul. He said to love others more than self. He said to be kind, speak truth, give to those in need, visit those who are sick, pray for everyone and the list goes on. What was so bad about these things to where people will hate these teachings? Why is there so much hate for Jesus when He healed the sick, raise the dead, and so on. The reason for the hate is satan. What we need to realize satan is not a one you just recite a scripture and he go away. We are enemies of satan so he is here to kill, steal, and destroy. He is not playing any games and he doesn’t fight fair. We need to understand that satan is behind these false religions and that is why Christianity is under attack. God and satan are enemies. We are in a spiritual war. If we are not praying, fasting, studying God’s word, and living obediently then we are not going to be strong enough to fight this war. Since we see that satan is here to kill, steal and destroy; we must armor up and FIGHT!!! Fight this war with the Word of God and God’s Spirit. Many souls are lost and they are running to false religions. They are attacking what we stand for and what we believe in. The men and women of the Bible stood boldly for God. They didn’t bow to any other gods. They were willing to die as some did die for the Word of God…standing boldly for Jesus Christ. You find this in both the old and new testament. People we have the Word so that we may know how to live in this world and how to fight as our brothers and sisters in Christ fought. Stop underestimating your opponent. Know your opponent and fight him with the Word and walk under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Pray for me as I pray for you.
In today’s society we see the days growing darker. As a believer, you may find yourself like me heartbroken for the many souls who don’t have a relationship with the Lord. Everywhere we look we see sin rapidly increasing but I’m here to encourage you to continue to fight the good fight. We know victory is ours and our Lord Jesus will return to take us home to paradise. This earth is not ours. It belongs to satan but while we are here let us press on by spreading the Gospel, displaying the love of Christ, praying God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and forgive one another. Time is short and one thing for sure is death. We still have a job to fulfill before we are called to leave this earth. Do not let the evil of this world discourage or frustrate you. Be the light of the world and the salt of the earth that God has called us to be. Pray saints pray for the days ahead will be like never before. We need one another to fight this spiritual battle. I love you and I pray the Lord’s strength for you all.
Hebrews 9:27 says, “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” We all have an appointment with death. A lot of the times people do not want to discuss death but the truth of the matter is that we will face death. It is what comes after death that should have us evaluating our lives and repenting of our sins. We must understand that we will be held accountable for how we lived our lives on earth. Our thoughts, words, and actions will be judged by the King of Kings. We cannot run or escape death but we must be ready for the judgment to come. Our lives truly must be a reflection of Christ. When people come in contact with you, do they see the love of Christ in you? Some may say it is hard to display love in a world that is so mean and cold but we must remember that even Jesus experienced the things we are experiencing in the world today. While we still have today, talk to the Lord and ask Him to point out the things that you may say or do that is not a reflection of Him and allow the Holy Spirit to help you. Please know that the next second, minute, or hour is not promised but death is sure and we don’t want to spend an eternity in hell. We should want and desire eternity with Jesus Christ. This world is temporary but heaven and hell is for an eternity. What we do here on this earth determines where our end will be. Choose ye this day whom you will serve…hell is enlarging itself daily according to my Bible which means that people are dying in their sins. Let us not die in our sins and let us help those around us come to Christ Jesus and not die in their sins.
As I look at the things that are taking place in the world, I see the Word of God is fulfilling itself at full speed. This is a crucial time but there are those who are not taking heed to the signs that Jesus Christ warned us about regarding His return. We see that the love of many has grown wax cold. You see this as you watch the news or as you go through your everyday life in the public. We question ourselves and others asking, “What is going on in this wicked world?” We may even say things such as, “Wow, the world has taken a drastic change since my days of youth.” Don’t take what is happening lightly because the Lord is soon to return. We don’t know the day or the hour but either way through death or through the return of Christ the end is near. Are we truly ready for the return of Christ but furthermore are we ready for what’s to come after death? Judgment is upon us and we must make a decision now that we will follow Christ Jesus wholeheartedly. At death or at His return, we won’t have a chance to say that we didn’t know or understand what it was that God wanted for our lives. When Jesus came to earth the first time, He came as a lamb to save the lost but when He return the final time, He is coming as a lion to judge the world. We all have an expiration date and when that day come can we say we are truly ready to be judged by the One who can place us in heaven or hell. We all want to go to heaven and we think we may enter through just good works but it is by our faith in Jesus Christ that saves us. Everything about our lives will change- our conversations, our thoughts, our actions will line up to God’s holy Word. We must be mindful that we cannot stay in sin and think that we will enter into heaven. Our lives must change and we can’t change our lives on our own…the Holy Spirit who is our guide will guide us into all truth. The Holy Spirit will show us the ways of God. As we see evil growing let us seek the Lord and repent from our ways and allow Jesus full access into our lives. repent for the kingdom of God is at hand. Don’t die in your sins.
Trust is sacred. It’s hard to gain and easy to lose. When we look back over our life, we come to see that people lost our trust and as well as we have lost the trust of others. There is a trust that is sure in today’s society and that is TRUST IN THE LORD!!! I come to realize in my walk that trust in God means I totally surrender to His will. Even if God doesn’t grant me what I request, plead, and/or ask for. Trust is knowing that God is in control although we can’t see the end result. As people we have the concept that if we trust God for what we ask for, He will grant just that. Our God is not a genie where He grants our every wish, want, and desire. He have a plan for our lives. What is according to His will, He shall do!!! Our faith in Him should be unmovable. Our trust should be as strong as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They knew that God was able to deliver them from the burning furnice but they said even if God chose not to deliver them, they would still serve the Lord. They wouldn’t be moved by their fiery trial. As followers of Christ, our faith should resemble theirs. Our trust shouldn’t be based off what we see or feel but by what we know. God is able. He is faithful. Have their ever been a moment where He didn’t make provisions for you? Since we know that He made provisions for us when we were yet in our sin, how much more trustworthy would God be if we totally trust Him and is obedient to Him? From this moment forward, trust solely on God in every aspect of your life and watch Him fulfill what He has purposed for you!!! Don’t trust in the things you know He can do but in Who He is and knowing He knows what’s best for you.
With each day passing, my heart grows weary. I recognize the times we are in. The signs are all around us. Jesus is on His way back. We no longer have time to waste. No longer can we focus on self. It’s time to awake from our sleep and do what the Lord has called us to do. Seek the Lord NOW while He may be found. God’s Word spoke of a time such as this and He said it would be “IN THE LAST DAYS.” I know and understand that we don’t know the exact day or time but Jesus said when we see the signs know that He is knocking at the door. Jesus is knocking. Answer His call!!! REPENT & turn from your wicked ways. Seek Jesus!!!
God wants us to live a life that is holy and acceptable unto His sight. We say with our mouths that we are living accordingly to His word but our actions, words, and thoughts are not lining up with His Word. I have come to notice how we as believers have allowed the world full access into the so called church. Jesus said, “He is the same yesterday, today, and forever more.” So why have we as believers in Christ change what was never meant be changed? Why have we use the ways of the world to attempt to draw people to Christ? We don’t have to adjust anything that pertains to the word of God and drawing people to him. His word alone is powerful enough to save. It saved generations before us and is still continuing to save now. Why have we allowed gospel rap to creep into our churches? Testimonies alone were enough to make people want to seek Jesus for themselves. We have allowed many gateways to be opened for the enemy to wreck havoc in our lives. Then we wonder why things are happening the way they are or we blame the devil when in reality we bring on a lot of our own issues through disobedience. God’s word states that because of our disobedience we will be punished and our children will be punished and our children’s children will be punished if we do not repent and turn from our evil ways. We continually holler “God is not done with me yet.” No He may not be done with you yet but at some point you have to make a choice to live according to His word. He promise to give us what we need to survive in hardships which also includes the ability to resist temptation if we CHOOSE to. We have to choose to do right. He is not going to make us do something that we know in our heart we really don’t want to do. The devil doesn’t send us to hell we send ourselves there through our disobedience and not repenting. God is so gracious and merciful that He doesn’t want any of us to perish but once again it goes back to what you really want. Do you want to live a life completely sold out to Him or do you want to continue to straddle the fence? How are we straddling the fence when we go to church, we read the Bible, we pray, we give, we tithe…we are doing what we are supposed to be doing!!! When we listen to music that doesn’t glorify God. When we watch shows that promote everything that God says He hate. When we think unholy thoughts whether it is about an individual we know we have no business thinking of. When we hold grudges and choose not to forgive and forget. We say we forgive but then we say we won’t forget feeding people with long handle spoons. What if God chose to forgive but not forget? God says I will remember your sins no more and He expects us to do the same when it comes to others. If we don’t forgive completely our Father in Heaven will not forgive us. Remember this is all biblical. When we partake in alcoholic drinks and drugs when we know that our body is the temple of God. In the Old Testament, He didn’t allow the prophets to stand on holy ground with their sandals on so let alone we shouldn’t defile our temples where is His Spirit “supposedly” dwells. When we wear clothing that may tempt a person to lust after us. When we use words that are not for uplifting and encouraging. When we go places that we know doesn’t glorify God but bring pleasure to ourselves. The list goes on…we can lie to others and we can make all the excuses in the world but in reality if we doing some of these things and yet claim to love the Lord…we are further from Him than we realize. For 2016, let us be wise regarding the tricks of the enemy and start to live a life that is pleasing unto the Lord. I know it will not be easy but He promises us that He will provide a way of escape. Make up your mind today whom you will truly serve…because hell is real and for an eternity. God made Himself very clear who will not enter into Heaven…Let’s live holy and get the world out of us.
